Born and raised in Las Vegas, Michael has a strong sense of loyalty towards helping those in need across the Valley. Thus, he received his law degree from William S. Boyd School of Law, University of Nevada, Las Vegas, graduating magna cum laude, in the top 10% of his class.
During law school, Michael repeatedly received the CALI Award for having the highest grade in his class for Pretrial Civil Litigation and Negotiation. He also received CALI Awards for Contracts, Remedies, Transactional Legal Drafting, and Antitrust. Further, his education included an internship at the Clark County District Attorney’s Office and a judicial externship with the Honorable Timothy C. Williams of the Eighth Judicial District Court.
Attorney Michael J. Holthus is a member of the State Bar of Nevada and is licensed to practice before all state courts. Michael is also a member of the Nevada Justice Association and the Clark County Bar Association.
Michael also enjoys traveling, collecting gym equipment and occasionally using it, playing with his dog Sully, and golf.
